About
Most landscaping calculators stop at "you need 2.4 cubic yards." This site goes further and tells you what to actually buy: how many bags, rolls, pallets or loads, rounded up the way suppliers sell them, and roughly what that will cost if you enter your prices.
One yard project often needs several materials, such as gravel for a path, soil for beds, sod for the lawn and stone for the borders. Every calculator here uses the same measurement and purchasing rules, and each one adds to a single project shopping list.
The site is for homeowners, DIY builders and small contractors. It works in US and metric units and doesn't need an account. Every assumption, including waste, density, bag size and order steps, is visible and can be changed.
The site doesn't sell materials and has no supplier partnerships. All results are estimates. The methodology explains exactly how they're calculated.
